EDWARDIAN STYLE SUFFRAGETTE TRILOGY RING AMETHYST PERIDOT
A striking Suffragette tribute ring modelled in 9ct gold and bezel set with two green peridots (approx. 0.50ct each) and a violet amethyst in the centre (approx. 0.80ct).
The combination of violet and green gems was often used together to show support for the women’s Suffrage movement in the early 20th Century. A white stone was often present as well and together symbolised the movements key virtues; Violet for Royalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
It’s a fabulous piece displaying a gorgeous trilogy of natural gems that contrast and complement each other beautifully.
