This fabulous 9ct Yellow Gold Suffragette ring is Circa 1900.

Set with two, three leaf clovers, which are surrounded by Pearls.

A genuine Victorian Suffragette ring which is all original.

Emmeline Pankhurst was the leader of the British Suffragette movement in the 19th century and through her efforts won the right for women to vote.

Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking.

Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.

Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and legendary powers to stimulate, and soothe, the mind and emotions.

The Peridot is a stone of lightness and beauty and was believed to be a stone of springtime by ancients who considered it a gift from Mother Nature.

Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone, they are lovely lustrous and natural.

In Irish tradition the three leaf clover represents the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, if someone was to find a clover with the fourth leaf then that fourth leaf represented God's Grace.

Steeped in history from the Victorian era.
