This spectacular Victorian suffragette necklace is set in 15ct and 9ct Gold, Circa 1900.
The necklace is all original and is adorned in large Amethysts, Peridots and Pearls.
The chain has a link effect with Pearls set into the gallery of the necklace.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking.
