ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN 9CT SUFFRAGETTE PENDANT CIRCA 1910
This fabulous Suffragette pendant dates back to the Edwardian era, Circa 1910. It is adorned with a beautiful 0.3ct Amethyst, which is surrounded by Pearls and rich green Peridots, leading to a Gold ball dropper.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes.
All set in 9ct Yellow Gold gallery and complete with a 9ct hallmark on the reverse.
Weighs 1.8 grams.
Pendant measures 30mm across x 40mm down, including bale.
